Perry's purchases their milk from a farmer-owned cooperative, made
up of family farmers, in New York. Local ice cream from local milk
distributed regionally. They write…
Perry's manufactures their own brand of ice cream for retail
grocery, convenience stores, schools and institutions. Our products are
packaged in retail containers such as pints, quarts, "sqrounds", and as
ice cream novelties such as cones, bars and sandwiches. In addition to
our own brand, we manufacture similar formats on a contract basis for
other companies servicing similar channels of trade.
Perry's began offering organic ice cream in 2008, under its own
label, supplied solely by long time milk supplier partner, Upstate
Farms, a cooperative. Perry's organic ice creams are carefully crafted,
one batch at a time to give consumers all the creaminess and taste you
would expect from Perry's with all natural, USDA approved organic
ingredients.
Perry's brand is delivered in a portion of the US representing less
than 2% of the total US Market. The ice cream category is projected to
grow at about 1.7% annually through 2010. Growth in the global
marketplace is expected to exceed 3%. Perry's is annually the market
share leader in Western New York in ice cream and sherbet sales. With
our tradition of quality, consumers expect Perry's to deliver a
superior tasting, creamier product than our competitors offers. Based
on our sales leadership, we deliver against those high expectations.
